You can share your screen to capture video and audio from your computer.
Share your screen
On Playback in your web browser, click “select stream” to open the stream menu and choose “screen share.”
Your browser will provide different screen sharing options.
Most browsers only capture audio from inside the browser. e.g. Chrome captures audio when you screen share a Chrome tab, but not when you screen share Window or Entire Screen.
If you want to capture audio from outside the browser, consider incorporating a live production app like OBS: Send video and audio from OBS Studio to Playback.
Optimize for video
By default, Playback will try to use the highest resolution possible when you are screen sharing. This is great for when you’re sharing still images and small text that you want viewers to read.
If you will be screen sharing something with high motion like a video, check the box for “optimize screen share for video” and Playback will adjust the resolution to try to maintain a higher frame rate.
Screen share together
You can have multiple people share their screen in the same room. The stream menu will show each screen share so you can switch back and forth quickly.
