Go live from your room to rally your room members to meet up and start streaming.
Start a stream
There are two ways for rooms to go live on Playback.
- Click “Go live” from inside a room.
- Click “Add event” from inside a room to schedule a stream for later. Your stream will automatically go live when the start time arrives.
You can go live from desktop or mobile.
Enter your stream info
When going live or scheduling, you can give your stream a title, description and thumbnail. You can choose simulcast destinations to publish your stream to other platforms.
Add a live TV broadcast
Click “Add a stream” to attach a broadcast from one of Playback’s streaming apps (e.g. NBA League Pass, EuroLeague TV). The attached broadcast will start playing in your room when you go live.
If you’re scheduling a stream for later and you attach a broadcast, Playback will use the broadcast’s start time for your event. You can still choose to start early and Playback will play the broadcast early if it’s available before the official start time.
Send a push notification
Once your stream starts, your room members will get a push notification from the Playback mobile app.
